The Fifth EACA International School on Computer Algebra and its Applications will take place at the Basque Center for Applied Mathematics - BCAM, (Bilbao, Spain) on February 25th-28th, 2020.

The First, Second, Third and Fourth editions of the EACA School on Computer Algebra and its Applications were held in Tenerife in 2011, Valladolid in 2013, Sevilla in 2016 and Santiago de Compostela in 2018.

Topics include, but are not limited to, computer algebra in the sciences, engineering, communication, medicine, pure and applied mathematics, education and computer science.

This School intends to provide an opportunity for young researchers (namely, Master and PhD students and Postdocs) in Computer Algebra and Symbolic Computation or in its Applications from all over the world, to learn from four internationally recognized lecturers, about recent developments on the area. The School also welcomes experienced researchers interested in these topics.

It is an activity of the Spanish network Red-EACA, Red Temática de Cálculo Simbólico, Álgebra Computacional y Aplicaciones, partially supported by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, under the Acciones de Dinamización "Redes de Excelencia".
