BCAM Working Seminar APDE: On the Boundary Harnack Principle

Date: Thu, Oct 22 2020

Hour: 17:00

Speakers: Daniela De Silva (Barnard College - Columbia University)

In this talk we discuss the classical Boundary Harnack Principle and
some of its applications to Free Boundary problems. We then
present a recent direct analytic proof of this result, for solutions to
linear uniformly elliptic equations in either divergence or nondivergence form.
