BCAM Scientific Seminar: On Some Bayesian Approaches for Gamma Process

Abstract:
When fitting real data to a degradation model, it occurs frequently that individual heterogeneity has to be taken into account. Only few degradation models with random effects have been studied in the literature and most of them are parametric. Hence, in this work, we propose a non-parametric Bayesian degradation model based on the gamma process and using the Dirichlet process.
