Information of interest

My main research interests are in the field of Operations Research and Management Science, particularly in Stochastic Programming and Combinatorial Optimization. On one hand, we are dedicated to designing mathematical models that incorporate uncertainty and include effective strategies to manage risk. On the other hand, we develop exact, metaheuristic and matheuristic algorithms to solve large-scale optimization problems, seeking a balance between quality, efficiency and speedup. We are interested in the following applications, among others, routing optimization for intelligent transport, location and redeployment in emergency healthcare system and humanitarian logistics to support sustainable decision-making.
