Information of interest

I am currently an Ikerbasque Research Fellow at BCAM. I have mainly worked on inverse problems arising in the study of partial differential equations. However, my research interests also include mathematical analysis and its applications. My curiosity goes beyond mathematics, in particular, I am interested in the possible relations between the non-equilibrium thermodynamics and biological evolution.

Regarding my education, I studied mathematics at Universidad de Sevilla and got a master on mathematics and applications at Université Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris VI). I graduated as a PhD from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Before coming to BCAM, I have developed my postdoctoral research experience at UPV/EHU, University of Helsinki and ICMAT. I have also visited other institutions as University of Washington, IMUS, Institut Mittag-Leffler, MIT and Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María.
