P-splines Meeting 2016 
December 12 and 13, 2016

Aim: 

The aim of the meeting to present recent advances in smoothing methods using a common framework such as penalized splines (P-splines). The main core of the participants have been collaborating during the last 10 years in complex statistical problems in different fields such as mortality, demography, environmental modeling, biostatistics, Bayesian modeling and computational statistical methods. As in 2015, this year the meeting will be held at BCAM and hosted by Applied Statistics Group
