The second BCAM-Workshop on "Populations in epidemics and ecology: Modeling and numerical simulations" will take place in Bilbao on May 16th-18th to discuss recent research in population dynamics applied to epidemics, ecology and medicine based on mathematical models that reflect the main features of such dynamics. The main goal of this workshop is to bring together established researchers, younger ones, and students to expose and be exposed to new techniques, theoretical results, and discoveries in applications that may benefit many of the participants by providing new insights and techniques that they may not have previously known or used. The use of such results and techniques are potentially beneficial to many important medical, ecological, and epidemiological questions.
