Abstract
Strichartz estimates are very powerful tools in the theory of dispersive and wave-like PDE, and have significant interest to harmonic analysts. In recent years, the study of best constants and extremisers for Strichartz estimates has emerged. Here, we establish some sharp Strichartz estimates for the Klein--Gordon equation in special cases via a bilinear estimate, inspired by analogous results for the wave equation due to Bez--Jeavons--Ozawa in 2016. In the spirit of their paper, we also consider a null-form type operator and, consequently, recover some known results by Quilodron and Jeavons. In addition, a new refined sharp Strichartz estimate in four spatial dimensions is obtained. The talk is based on joint work with Jayson Cunanan.
