The motion of the phase boundaries with triple junction by the geometric evolution law is studied in this talk. We consider the surface diffusion equation which is nonlinear fourth order parabolic PDE. Our goal in this talk is to derive a criterion of the linearized stability of stationary solutions for this geometric evolution problem with triple junction.
