6th BCAM- UPV/EHU summer school on Harmonic Analysis and PDEs: Strichartz and resolvent estimates takes place in Bilbao

The workshop took place at the Basque Center for Applied Mathematics - BCAM in Bilbao during 1-5 July

The Basque Centre for Applied Mathematics – BCAM and the University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU organized the 6th edition of BCAM-UPV/EHU summer school on Harmonic Analysis and PDEs: Strchartz and resolvent estimates. The Summer School consisted of mini courses and student group projects. On the last day, the student groups presented each other the work they did during the school.

During the 5 days of the summer school participants have enjoyed 2 mini-courses from Neal Bez (he/him) from Saitama University and Luca Fanelli UPV/EHU, BCAM and Ikerbasque. The courses were aimed to all the students, and they will cover the introduction to each of the topics that each student group will be working on.

The students’ groups were of 3-4 people, and guided by a lecturer they collaborated on the special topics related to the themes of the mini courses.

The summer school was organised by Javier Canto (he/him) UPV/EHU, Pedro Caro (he/him) BCAM & Ikerbasque, Marco Fraccaroli (he/him) BCAM, Zoe Nieraeth (she/her) BCAM, Nico Michele Schiavone (he/him) BCAM and Mateus Sousa (he/him) BCAM from the Harmonic Analysis research line at BCAM.

The summer school is partially funded by the Spanish AEI through the PID2020-113156GBI00 and PID2021-122156NB-I00 projects, and the Juan de la Cierva grants from Nico Michele Schiavone (FJC2021-046835-I) and Zoe Nieraeth (FJC2021-046837-I), by the Basque Government through the project “IT1615-22”, and by the BILBOMATH 2024 project from the Bilbao City Hall.
