BCAM attends the presentation of the report "Talent Management and Diversity: New Leadership Profiles"

  • The document produced by Bizkaia Talent and PWN Bilbao aims to put the needs of women on the table and raise awareness of the importance of diversity in talent for success

75% of the couples of the international professionals who have received the Be Basque Dual Career service from Bizkaia Talent, which offers accompaniment to the couples of international professionals in their transition and integration into the labour and socio-cultural world of the Basque Country, since 2015 were women. In view of this scenario, on November 26th Bizkaia Talent and PWN (Professional Women's Network) Bilbao, an international movement that works for the advancement of women's professional careers and gender equality, presented the report "Talent Management and Diversity: New Leadership Profiles", which aims to put the needs of women on the table and raise awareness in the business and scientific-technological world of the new leadership profiles and the importance of talent diversity for the success and efficiency of a company/society.

For the preparation of the report, both organizations have carried out several meetings with agents involved in talent management such as human resources consultants, universities, companies and technological and scientific centres. Among the conclusions drawn from these meetings are the need to define a strategy for managing diversity and the importance of taking into account the integration of the family unit in the process of attracting talent.

Noemi Casero, HR Manager at the Basque Center for Applied Mathematics - BCAM, participated in the event with the aim of deepening the values of equality in leadership and attracting talent, two aspects directly linked to the center’s Equality Plan.
