BCAM will collaborate with the College of Engineering at the University of Sao Paulo

  • The collaboration agreement signed by both institutions seeks academic cooperation in the fields of Engineering and Mathematics

The Basque Center for Applied Mathematics and the College of Engineering at the University of Sao Paulo (Brazil) have signed an international collaboration agreement and will officially promote their academic cooperation. The agreement was signed on August 1st in Sao Paulo by BCAM’s Scientific Director, Luis Vega, and the Vice-Director of Escola Politécnica da Universidade de Sao Paolo, Reinaldo Giudici.

The partnership among both institutions will promote the exchange of teaching staff, researchers, graduate students, interns and other members of the staff. The collaboration will also take place in the form of lectures, joint research activities, final year projects, seminars and academic meetings, as well as special and short-term academic programs.

This agreement, which is in addition to those already signed by BCAM with the Institute of Physics and the Institute of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Sao Paulo, represents a further step in the consolidation of the collaboration between these two institutions.
