Objective:

"The SEKUTEK (Sekurtasun Teknologiak) project was launched in 2017, with the aim of coordinating the research activity in industrial cybersecurity of the different Basque agents to obtain the necessary degree of technological training to enable the transfer of this knowledge to Basque industry in the future. While SEKUTEK has a clear focus on protection technologies in the ICT (Electronics, Information and Communication Technologies) chain, from the sensor to the cloud, CYBERPREST considerably broadens the focus of research, promoting the generation of knowledge in all the activities necessary to achieve a comprehensive cybersecurity framework. Therefore, in addition to deepening and broadening SEKUTEK's research activities in the field of industrial systems protection, new content will be addressed in cybersecurity management and governance, identification and analysis, monitoring and detection, as well as recovery, response and resilience. CYBERPREST will take the results obtained in SEKUTEK and complement them with the necessary knowledge to deploy comprehensive security solutions applicable to Basque industry. The context and objectives of the project remain largely unchanged, and for that reason some sections of this report have important similarities with the SEKUTEK project. However, it should be clear that the research focus greatly deepens and broadens the previous proposal. One of the main objectives of the CYBERPREST project will be to promote the use of the Page 1 One of the main objectives of the CYBERPREST project will be to promote the use of the available infrastructure among the different agents, and to use it as a differential factor to develop research activities with greater potential and added value."
