Aula Tecnológica UPV/EHU- BCAM
The new Aula Tecnológica is the result of a collaboration agreement between the UPV/EHU and the Basque Center for Applied Mathematics
Fernando Plazaola, dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of the Basque Country, and Jose Antonio Lozano, scientific director of the Basque Center for Applied Mathematics, have signed a collaboration agreement for the creation of the Aula Tecnológica UPV/EHU-BCAM. This collaboration will promote the joint co-direction of Bachelor's Degree Final Projects, Master's Degree Final Projects, joint internship and scholarship programmes, and joint Master's and PhD programmes, as well as courses and activities for students.
On the other hand, the Aula will promote, among others, joint participation in R&D projects in an open framework of topics of common interest between the UPV/EHU and the Basque Center for Applied Mathematics. Furthermore, it will favour the development of a professional career in BCAM of the students who participate in the activities of the Aula. It will jointly produce scientific-technological publications to disseminate the results of the collaborative research activity.
University-business-society
The Aula University-Business-Society are spaces for collaboration between the UPV/EHU and the entities financing the Aulas. The aim of the Aulas is to promote joint learning and research between the UPV/EHU and the collaborating entities, thus promoting the training of professionals of excellence and the transfer of knowledge to companies, research centres and society in general. There are three types of Classrooms, Business Classrooms where collaboration takes place with companies, Aulas tecnológicas with research centres such as BCAM and Social Aulas in partnership with social organisations, such as NGOs, foundations, cultural organisations, etc.
