BCAM hosts a new edition of the workshop "Fractional Calculus, Probability and Non-Local Operators: Applications and Recent Developments 2024"

  • The workshop took place at the Bilbao headquarters of the Basque Centre for Applied Mathematics (BCAM) on May 20, 21, and 22

The Basque Centre for Applied Mathematics – BCAM organised the workshop "Fractional Calculus, Probability and Non-Local Operators: Applications and Recent Developments 2024" on May 20, 21, and 22 at the Bilbao headquarters of BCAM, in person. In this eighth edition of the series of workshops started in 2013, hosted the first meeting of the PRIN2022 MUR project "Non-Markovian Dynamics and Non-Local Equations".

The workshop brought together renowned expert researchers in the many branches and intersections of Fractional Calculus, Probability, and Analysis of Non-Local Operators.

The event featured presentations from 22 speakers from universities in Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, Spain, the Netherlands, Romania, Croatia, and Mexico. Throughout the event, there was also space for poster sessions, where researchers displayed and shared the scope of their work with the other participants.

The workshop is partially funded by the Spanish AEI through the projects "Excelencia Severo Ochoa" (Ref. CEX2021-001142-S), "Harmonic analysis and applications to partial differential equations" (Ref. PID2020-113156GB-I00), and "Analysis of discrete equations and in graphs" (Ref. CNS2023-143893); by the Basque Government through the project BERC2022-2025; by the Dipartimento di Matematica "G. Peano" of the Università di Torino through the project "Non-Markovian dynamics and non-local equations" (Ref. 202277N5H9) and PRIN2022, MIUR; and by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science.
