The First Piano Competition "Villa de Bilbao 2024". The synergy between mathematics and music: a melody for youth piano development in Villa de Bilbao 2024.
Through this contest, Bilbao becomes a stage where youth can explore and delve into the relationship between mathematics and music. This initiative, which is part of the program “2M-Mathematics and Music” and is framed within the BILBOMATH project, arises from the collaboration between the Bilbao City Council and the Basque Center for Applied Mathematics (BCAM). Its goal is to celebrate music and mathematics as independent disciplines and to reveal the beauty that arises from their intersection.
