A Short Introduction into the Fluid Dynamics

Dates: 17, 24, 27 & 29 April 2015 (4 sessions)
Time: 15:00 - 17:00 (a total of 8 hours)
* Exceptionally the session on April 29th will be from 16:00 to 18:00.

In this short course we are going to recall some basics of Fluid Dynamics. It is only assumed that the audience is familiar with the basic Classical Mechanics and Calculus. Nothing else is required to attend this course (except active participation). Everybody who wishes to be introduced to fluid mechanics are welcome.

PROGRAMME
- Review of (exterior) vector calculus
- Eulerian description of fluid flows
- Lagrangian description of fluids
- Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics
