BCAM researchers travel to the International Symposium on Injury Prevention in Team Sports within the framework of MATH4SPORTS project
- The International Symposium took place at the Institute of Sport and Sport Sciences of the TU Dortmund University and attracted 70 stakeholders from 8 countries, professionals from the scientific, medical and sports fields.
- This event also served as the venue for the second part of the group's working meetings, initiated at BCAM in September 2023.
BCAM researchers have traveled to the International Symposium on Injury Prevention in Team Sports within the framework of MATH4SPORTS, a project that seeks to transfer applied mathematics as a driving technology to the field of sports industry, with a high potential for technology transfer to start-ups, professional clubs, researchers and other agents of the innovative environment of Bizkaia.
The International Symposium took place at the Institute of Sport and Sport Sciences of the TU Dortmund University and attracted 70 stakeholders from 8 countries, professionals from the scientific, medical and sports fields.
The symposium featured leading international speakers from Sports Science, injury prevention, statistics or sports physiotherapy and rehabilitation, who shared the latest knowledge and cutting-edge research aimed at improving the safety and performance of athletes in all team sports.
In addition, this event also served as the venue for the second part of the group's working meetings, initiated at BCAM in September 2023 and serving as a meeting point to bring together the worlds of academia and European soccer professionals, fostering the exchange of knowledge.
