The talks on "Mathematics in everyday life" return to Bidebarrieta Library

  • BCAM collaborates one more year in this event, which aims to bring mathematics and its reality to the general public in a dynamic but rigorous way

The sixteenth edition of Bidebarrieta Kulturgunea's cycle "Mathematics in Everyday Life" will begin on 9 May and will feature 4 magnificent talks on the use of this science in aspects of our daily lives. This series of popular science talks that aim to bring mathematics and its reality closer to society in general in a dynamic but rigorous way is jointly organised by the Bilbao City Council, the Faculty of Science and Technology of the UPV/EHU and the Spanish Mathematical Society (RSME), with the collaboration of the Basque Center for Applied Mathematics - BCAM and Radio Euskadi, and is part of the scientific activity calendar of the Bidebarrieta Library.
